Anya Volz was born in Vermont and now lives at New York City. The comedian has earned the acclaim of men across America for her hilarious comedy that is not preachy. Her father is Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is Spanish as well as English heritage. Four of her siblings belong to her father's former marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned 6, when the family relocated to Victoria at London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she refused to master English in the hopes of returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Later she attended Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and was a part in plays. After she turned 16, she dropped out of school in order to make a career of acting. The dream of Taylor-Joy to become an actor of professional caliber started at a young age.
